Q1. Where do I get information?

Contact MarketRiders directly at our online Contact page or call our toll free number, 866-990-ETFS. If you are already working with a financial planner, have them contact us and we'll work out the details. Fees are the same whether you contact us or have your financial planner make the call.

Q2. Who can get an investment proposal?

We are happy to write investment proposals for prospective clients that we believe are interested in a long term investment with us, are financially qualified, have a general understanding of low-cost passive investing and are serious about making an investment. We do reserve the right to refuse or withdraw a proposal if the prospective investor is deemed a poor fit for MarketRiders.

Q3. What if I get a proposal but don't open an account?

If you're on the fence we actually prefer that you take your time in making a decision. It is through long term commitments that we are able to maintain our low management fees.

Q4. Is there a minimum portfolio size?

No. We don't have requirements on portfolio size. However, there is a minimum flat fee of $625 charge per quarter unless your portfolio contains $500,000 or more, at which point you will be charged a 0.5% quarterly fee.

Q5. Will MarketRiders give me advice on accounts you're not managing?

No. We only take responsibility for advising Clients on assets held in Schwab accounts under our care.

Q6. Can I transfer in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds that I transfer in?

We will accept securities but they will be exchanged for securities that we use in our investment plan. Our goal is to manage your account according to the established goals and targets without making allowances for preexisting accounts.

Q7. What if I want to keep my mutual funds or other securities?

As long as you keep your other investments in separate, self-managed accounts there is no problem. In fact we'd be happy to help you set up an account with Charles Schwab but we will have no authority or responsibility for those assets.
