MarketRiders has chosen to work solely with Schwab because of their proven commitment to customer service, their reduced trading fees, and their proven track record of operational efficiency. In addition, having only one custodian is more cost effective and keeps management fees lower.
No. There is no partnership or affiliation between MarketRiders and Charles Schwab Institutional or their parent company. We do not receive any compensation from them for choosing to use their services.
Not unless you want to. MarketRiders will provide you with all of the necessary Schwab Institutional paperwork and you can simply mail your checks, but if there is a local office nearby you can directly give them any deposits and paperwork to speed up the process.
Absolutely! By using both the Schwab and the MarketRiders website you can find all sorts of information about your account activity, a variety of reports and tax information.
Both Charles Schwab and MarketRiders will send you monthly reports with your account balances, trades, cash flows, and unrealized gains. You can receive these statements through traditional mail and/or email.
Charles Schwab will send you a 1099 for your taxable accounts. There is also an online realized gain/loss statement that you can check any time you want.
No. You can end the agreement at any time and you'll only be responsible for fees you incurred during the current quarter.
